The Rehab Haven Press
Written to be used, not admired.
Clinical guides, patient guides, rehabilitation manuals, caregiver guides, workbooks, preventive health books and research titles. Everything we publish carries a named author and passes clinical and editorial review before it reaches anybody's hands.
Catalogue
Titles and guides.
Books, eBooks, clinical guides, patient guides, manuals, caregiver guides, research books, workbooks and audiobooks.
Where a title is still in production, it is not listed here. We list what exists.
How a title is made
Nothing goes out unreviewed.
Every manuscript follows the same route, and medical content is read by a clinician before it can be finalised.
- Stage 1
Draft
The manuscript is written, chapter by chapter, with its sources recorded as it goes.
- Stage 2
Editing
Structure, clarity and plain language, with terminology checked for the reader it is meant for.
- Stage 3
Peer review
Read by a professional outside the writing, with comments the author must answer.
- Stage 4
Clinical review
A clinician checks every claim, instruction and safety point. Anything unsupported comes out.
- Stage 5
Final
Corrections applied, version recorded, cover and metadata agreed, approver named.
- Stage 6
Published
Released with author, edition and date shown, and kept under review afterwards.
Write with us
Have a manuscript, or an idea for one?
We are interested in clinical guides, patient education, caregiver material and rehabilitation manuals that are genuinely useful in this region, particularly from Ghanaian and African clinicians and educators.
Tell us what it is, who it is for and how far along it is. If it needs a clinical reviewer or an editor, say so, that is part of what we do.
