The Rehab Haven Recovery Marketplace

The right tools for recovery.

Professionally selected rehabilitation, mobility and home-care products to support independence between sessions. Not a medical supply shop: a clinician helps you choose, and the choice is written into your rehabilitation plan.

How buying here works

Problem first. Product second.

The wrong walking aid, at the wrong height, on the wrong side, makes walking less safe rather than more. So we start with what you are struggling to do.

  • Step 1

    Problem

What has become difficult: walking, standing, gripping, sleeping, getting out of a chair.

  • Step 2

    Product

The equipment that genuinely addresses it, and the ones that only look like they would.

  • Step 3

    Guidance

Size, height, resistance, technique and safety, set up with a clinician who has assessed you.

  • Step 4

    Recovery plan

The product becomes part of your programme, reviewed at your next appointment like everything else.

What do you need help with?

Choose the closest description. If none of them fits, or you are not sure, that is the most useful answer of all: tell us and a clinician will guide you.

Clinical selection

Every product carries a selection level.

Some rehabilitation products are safe to pick up and use. Others depend on an assessment. We say which is which, plainly, on the product and in the catalogue below.

  • Generally suitable

Straightforward to use as directed in a home programme, with the usual common-sense precautions.

  • Professional guidance recommended

Size, height, resistance or technique changes whether it helps. A short conversation with a clinician prevents a wasted purchase.

  • Clinical assessment required

Should follow an assessment. Choosing this without one can delay recovery or cause harm.

Example: a walking stick. The appropriate height, handle type and configuration may depend on the individual's balance, strength, gait and functional needs. Ask a rehabilitation professional before you buy.

Rehabilitation exercise equipment in a therapy gym

Equipment does not rehabilitate anyone. Used correctly, inside a plan, it can help a great deal.

Recovery kits

Everything for the work between sessions.

A kit gathers what a home programme actually needs, so nothing is missing on the first evening. Contents may be adjusted following professional assessment, and we quote a kit once we know what your programme involves.

Once you have been assessed and your plan is written, we can assemble exactly what that plan calls for and nothing you will not use. Your therapist lists the items, we quote it, and it is recorded in your Recovery Passport so the next review starts from what you actually have at home.

The Rehab Haven Recovery Box

Your recovery. Your plan. Your progress.

A single box handed over at the start of your programme, so the work at home begins the same day rather than a week later.

Inside: your Recovery Passport, exercise bands, the therapy tools your plan calls for, your educational materials, an appointment card, a progress tracker, and a code that opens your own exercise programme in Haven Connect.

  1. The Recovery Passport

About me, my baseline, my goals, my programme, my lifestyle, my progress reviews, my instructions and my appointments. One record you can hand to any clinician, and yours to keep.

  2. Straight into your programme

The code in the box opens your own prescribed exercises in Haven Connect, with the demonstration videos your therapist has added for you.

  3. Progress you can see

Pain, mobility, strength and function recorded at each review, so the next conversation starts from evidence rather than memory.

  4. Your story, if you want to tell it

At the end of your programme the Passport asks one question: would you like to share your recovery story? Yes or not now, entirely your choice.

Also available

Hire, and supply for organisations.

Buying is not always the sensible answer, particularly for equipment needed for a few weeks.

  • Equipment hire

Wheelchairs, walking aids, hospital beds and selected rehabilitation equipment can be hired where that suits the length of your recovery better than buying. Ask us what is available for your dates.

  • Supply to organisations

Hospitals, clinics, schools, care homes and employers can order rehabilitation and mobility equipment through us, with clinical advice on specification included.

    Partnerships

  • Professional selection

An assessment appointment specifically to choose, fit and teach the use of equipment, for people who are not otherwise under our care.

    Book a session

Ask a rehabilitation professional

Tell us the problem, not the product.

Describe what has become difficult and one of our clinicians will tell you what would help, what would not, and whether you need an assessment first. There is no charge for the question.

If you already know the item you want, name it and we will confirm the price, the size and how soon we can supply it.

Product guidance enquiry

Goes straight to our clinical team. Nothing you send here appears anywhere on this website.

Guidance given here is general and cannot replace an assessment. Where a decision needs an examination, we will say so and offer you an appointment.

Collect from the clinic

Fitted, explained, and written into your plan.

Items are collected at 15 Crescent Avenue, South Patasi, Kumasi, Monday to Saturday, 8:00am to 6:00pm, where we set them up for you before you leave. Delivery within Kumasi can be arranged: ask when you enquire.
