The Rehab Haven Physiotherapy & Rehabilitation Centre

Before you choose

Four questions worth asking any rehabilitation centre.

Recovery takes time, effort and trust, so it is fair to ask how your care will be run before you commit to it. These are the questions our care is built to answer.

  1. Will someone assess me before anything is treated?

Good rehabilitation starts with understanding the person, not just the injury: how you move now, what you could do before, and what daily life is asking of you.

  2. Will I understand my own plan?

You should be able to say, in your own words, what you are working on, why each exercise is there, and roughly how long it should take.

  3. Are the goals measured in daily life?

Standing from a chair without help. Climbing your own steps. Carrying a child. Getting back to work. Progress is easiest to trust when it looks like your ordinary day.

  4. Does the care continue outside the clinic?

Most of recovery happens between sessions. Your plan should travel home with you, and someone should be there to adjust it when life gets in the way.

Function first. Independence next. Confidence follows.

A complete recovery journey.

Rehabilitation is not a single appointment. It is a path from the first assessment to the day you stop thinking about it, and every stage should hand you something to carry into the next.

  1. 1

    Assessment

We start by listening, then examining: your history, your movement, and what everyday life currently costs you.

  2. 2

    A plan you understand

Clear goals, written in ordinary language, with the reasoning behind each part of the programme explained to you.

  3. 3

    Therapy and review

Hands-on treatment and guided exercise, reviewed as you progress so the plan keeps matching the person doing it.

  4. 4

    Return to life

The work shifts to your home, your work and your community, where independence is the real measure of recovery.

The people you will meet.
